Hey everybody, Here's a very interesting audio stream about the invention of money: www.thisamericanlife.org/radio-archives/episode/423/the-invention-of-moneyAnd here's an even more interesting playlist of videos about what money has become: Money As Debt (series): The main "Money As Debt" concept might be summarized as: Ever since banks bribed governments into making it legal for them to write bank notes totaling more than what's in their vaults, money began to represent those debts more than anything else. Unless enough money is created through other means, a crash seems inevitable. It's amazing that the big crash hasn't already happened. Here's an interesting stream about what led to the last (relatively small) crash: www.thisamericanlife.org/355/the-giant-pool-of-moneyI have not yet found a satisfying link to a very interesting and plausible concept of what money represents that I heard many years ago. Please reply with to this post if you know of any supporting materials for the idea that money is coming to represent the ability to tax wealth in a critically important feedback loop. We're definitely losing that ability rapidly. Replies are welcome and encouraged for any other ideas of what money has represented (e.g. gold, salt, etc.) or what money will represent going forward (e.g. bitcoin-like calculations/mining?). Enjoy, Robert M. Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose.

Love this topic, Robert M. But this paragraph threw me for a "loop." Not sure what you're asking.
