The Los Angeles Times ran a story last week, "Aerial gondola at Dodger Stadium sparks fears of accelerated gentrification," about the opposition to the project:
There's also a plan to have an aerial tramway take people up to the Hollywood sign. Friends of Griffith Park is pretty upset about it. It's part of a larger plan which would also include a new visitor's center in Griffith Park.
