This came up when I was Googling "Tom Smothers Tujunga" this weekend:

I haven't read a heckuva lot, but this message board was established a year and a half ago and has 468 members. They seem to know each other pretty well, concentrating on personal and local land use issues. The different Foothill Boulevard signs in their logo are pretty cool. The board looks different than ours because they use a different host, phpBB.

I'll keep an eye or four on it.

I just learned by visiting the Foothills Forum that Home Depot has officially given up and is going to sell the former K-mart property -- the local activists have won. They pieced the story together themselves Tuesday night, then the story hit the mainstream Internets:
