Traffic has been especially brisk throughout December on the Montrose Peace Vigil message board. The peak number of guests was 157, and the low mark was 33. Right now, the counter in the Forum Information & Statistics box at the bottom of the homepage shows an accumulated 70 Guests among the Users Online in the Last 24 Hours. The highest number of guests visiting in one day in January was 85 unique IP addresses, and the lowest was 34, returning to the average ranges of the previous six months. As I post this report, the counter reads 58 guests.

The highest number of guests visiting in one day in January was 85 unique IP addresses, and the lowest was 34, returning to the average ranges of the previous six months after a spike of 157 in December. As I post this report, the counter at the bottom of the homepage reads 58 guests. Sometime on February 9 when I was at work, dozens of unique visitors came to the Montrose Peace Vigil message board at the same time. If I'd been online within 15 minutes, I could have copied their IP addresses from a ProBoards list only available to administrators and tracked their origin. Because of those bots, which I assume from experience, the board had 117 guests online in the previous 24 hours.
Last month's low mark was 35 guests -- the next day -- on February 10. Currently, the counter says 63.

But the floor was higher, with the least number of daily guests being 46 on April 4. In June, the peak number of 121 guests was a little lower than May, but the lowest number all month was 53 guests. That could be some kind of record, but I'm not curious enough to look it up. I can say that I'm used to the monthly low being in the 20's or 30's, which means that more and more bots and human beings are visiting the Montrose Peace Vigil message board.

It's midnight as I post this report, and the counter says 53 guests came here yesterday.

As the clock strikes midnight and a new month begins, the Montrose Peace Vigil message board was visited by 98 unique IP addresses yesterday, not including logged in members.
