The Foothills Forum folks are interested in hanging a banner to thank the emergency personnel and are discussion how to hang it up. I immediately thought of your wonderful banner drops and thought some might be interested in helping. See: I have the opportunity at work today to make a 12' x 4' banner of thanks to all the Emergency Responders. I was simply going to have it read: TO ALL THE EMERGENCY RESPONDERS - THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! YOU ARE AWESOME! Where is the best place to hang it & can someone help me. I have a 7 pm meeting tonight in Pasadena and will be pushed for time but could manage to drop it off with someone between 6 – 6:30ish if they would be willing to hang it up. My initial thought was over the 210 @ the Osborne overpass so that it would be visible to all... but that will require drilling into the concrete. My 2nd choice would be over the 210 in La Crescenta - there is that overpass that is used for the farmers market across from Memorial Park. Wherever you guys think it will work best is fine with me… I would appreciate the help AND I really appreciate this board! I’m a long time reader…I just don’t post much (looking to change that & get more involved in this community…I’ve lived here 20 yrs!) The whole thread: www.thefoothillsforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4559&p=58289#p58289 (if you wander around through the other threads you'll run into some people with very different politics, but all those I've met are good people even if their views mirror Rush Limbaugh.)

Well, since I'm here i'll post, but, I'm late to the party and just was at the last painting party...alot of work ( all day ) went into it at a friend's studio (she makes huge murals for a living). Roberta and Jeanne are the pros...if you can contact them! We also added grommets (from the hardware store) along the top and bottom so as there would be no chance of the banner falling onto the freeway...that's all I know!

Thanks! I've emailed Roberta - I need to go see if she's replied.
