That's a great collection of links, Annie.
Perhaps the best one is the Courage Campaign's round up of endorsements for the state propositions.

Brian asked me to post his Judicial choices for Judge of the Superior Court. They are the same choices he made in June. He will illuminate further, when he gets home. Office No. 72 - Hilleri Grossman Merritt Office No. 82 - Cynthia Loo Office No. 84 - Lori-Ann C. Jones Office No. 94 - C. Edward Mack Office No. 154 - Rocky L. Crabb

That link dates back before the June primary, when some of the candidates mentioned were elected with a majority of the votes. And that's when I did my research -- comparing endorsements and reading the candidates' ballot statements and websites along with the news stories I could find -- so I'm voting for the same people, though I can't remember all the reasons why now. I've been aided enormously by going against our Supervisor Mike Antonovich's endorsements for more than 30 years. But I only had to compare the statements by Loo and Rubinson in my sample ballot to make an easy choice again. Sorry, I don't have any informative links. But I enjoyed this homey story in Dick and Sharon's LA Progressive: www.laprogressive.com/2008/09/21/getting-our-feet-wet-with-fundraising/I just fished my Los Angeles County Democratic Party Official Voter Guide out the the postal pile and see that they picked the same five candidates for judges that I did.

So...uhm... hi. I hope you can help me because I'm still really undecided. I mean, McCain made a really great point on Saturday Night Live that, like, Obama can still run for President lots more times, but he's, like, too old to do this again. We should be fair in America and let McCain be President first, don't you think? Also, there was this one time when I was in DC for the counterinaugural -- and McCain got out of his car and squished through the crowd and shook my friend's hand and told her she looked pretty in her Code Pink liberty hat. We thought that was way cool.
But then Obama is really nice to his kids.
And neither has said 9/11 enough times to win my vote. Please help me.
