So far so good for me, no buffering pauses yet, but whether I can listen to 54 min. of Rick Dinger en route to the Peace Train is another matter!

Three days later, the video was still getting stuck on the buffering. The first time I tried tonight, I couldn't get past 15:04, so I clicked on a fresh page. The second run went nonstop, perhaps because I didn't try to move the timebar forward. The Peace Train is first visible at 55:03, out of sight by 56:49. Then I could replay to my heart's content. Worth the wait and the effort -- what do you think? There's nothing like the Peace Train in the Montrose Christmas Parade, and the impact it makes and the goodwill received is evident in that edit with the camera shots favoring the front and the back of our entry. The sound is poor. I still can't make out most of what the announcer said, so maybe nobody else there did either, but he seems enthusiastic. I hear Michael's tambourine louder than Forrest's conga drum. The Peace Train will evolve. Now I just want to relive this year's fabulous placement and presentation.

Before the glow fades from this year's parade, I want to remember a couple of things next year.
Those of us carrying the Peace Train and walking in front periodically sang a couple of verses and the chorus of the Cat Stevens' hit, which we rehearsed with Forrest laying the beat on his strap-on conga drum during the long wait before we joined the parade. Anni, Nancy and Marion with Bill's caboose in the back were singing Little Eva's "Loco Motion." Neither group heard the other over the thousands of people on the sidewalks chatting among themselves and shouting greetings at us, although we were only 20 feet apart.
Last year, we hauled a boom box playing recordings of "Peace Train" and the O'Jays' "Love Train" that we ourselves couldn't hear after we started marching. Luckily, it broke down very soon.
How about a friendly but loud train whistle, mechanical or digitally amplified. Desirable and practical?
