Wow, thank you for all of that, Bill! I missed Monday's "Countdown."

Yes I saw Olbermann's comments on Prop 8. I agree he seemed near tears. Very moving actually!

Those journals really are excellent, Bill. I'm grateful you brought them to my attention. I can't get over the one by the lower-case christian who's mind was changed by Keith. (Hope it's real! I'm even more skeptical of the Internets than I am of the mainstream media.) Frankly, I've been envious about all the feet on the street since Proposition 8 passed. Where were these people when we marched against the war in Iraq? (Or before the election on Nov. 4.) How are they so well organized? What motivates them? I've been reading a lot. This story from Saturday's Los Angeles Times... www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-elcoyote15-2008nov15,0,6294928.story ...deals less with means of technology, like social networking sites, blogs, text messaging and online donating, and more with the ends -- the hurt and anger being expressed through retribution and extortion. Fear and loathing catapulted the Latter Day Saints to raise $5 million in the final weekend before the election when it looked like Prop 8 might go down, according to an exclusive on the front page of Saturday's New York Times. Maybe that's when the manager of El Coyote ponied up her measly $100.
