Thanks for that link, Ross. I appreciate your curiosity and awareness to connect your radio experience with the film. That was a lot of information delivered rapidly. I did grasp that the concept of hell evolved in a multicultural way over time. What jumped out at me (as a potter) was the earthshake - the handshake where people scooped up a bit of earth and then grasped hands. Hmm. Another take away is the complexity of beliefs currently in the Middle East, more than two sides. It has been simplified for our consumption. There are more Aramaic speakers in Detroit than Iraq? I didn't know that anyone was speaking Aramaic today. So much to learn. Thanks for helping with that.

I agree, there's a lot to absorb in that program. It actually aired a few months ago and was repeated last week, and every time I hear it, I notice/retain new things. I may make a copy for myself on audio cassette (it's only archived online for 90 days).
