Keith Richards previewed his first solo album in 23 years with this song, "Trouble."
Geez, I hope that the CD sounds better than that You Tube clip. Anni preordered "Crosseyed Heart" from Keith's website in July. The album arrives on September 18, the same day Netflix releases a documentary, "Keith Richards: Under the Influence."
Of the 15 songs listed, I'm most interested in hearing Keith's rendition of "Goodnight, Irene." Ian Hunter has been closing his shows with the Lead Belly standard for years. Keith and Ian used to bump into each other at a London studio in 1970, when both were recording albums with their groups that were meant to be titled "Sticky Fingers." The Rolling Stones got theirs out first, so Mott the Hoople called their second album "Mad Shadows." What would happen if those elderly expatriate Brits and long-time residents of Connecticut stepped into a studio together now?

This is the Keith Richards video I worked on in 1988. Throughout the video you see dark mountains in the background. That was one of the things I was involved in.

How cool that you revived this thread from four years ago, Oss Rae -- and found a working video of "Take It So Hard." Last month, Keith put out 30th anniversary editions of his first solo album, "Talk Is Cheap." The box set contains a book, vinyl LP and singles and a bunch of souvenirs, but has no more music than the two CD set that Anni bought with the original album re-mastered and six bonus tracks that include studio jams with Chuck Berry's piano player Johnnie Johnson.

Let me add that this is the first time (for me) that I can actually hear the re-mastered improved quality! Here's the song I have on replay much of the time I'm in my car. It's my favorite, but Oss Rae's video is sooooo much better, IMHO.
