Reverend Billy (a street theater personality-activist in N.Y.C.) recalls 9/11 and a gathering of peace activists at Union Square in N.Y.C. (This was video'd on the 10-year anniversary.)
For anyone who may be unfamiliar with Reverend Billy, he's a culture jammer and street performer, best known for taking on consumerism. He routinely visits Disney Stores (particularly the one in gentrified Times Square), Starbucks, Walmarts, etc. and preaches against consumerism and exorcises cash registers.
This movie, What Would Jesus Buy? follows Reverend Billy and his Stop Shopping Choir as they cross the U.S. visiting places like Mall of America and ultimately Disneyland, where they get arrested while telling people not to buy there.
