Another show I recently watched is this miniseries about Patty Hearst and the Symbionese Liberation Army.
Unfortunately I missed part one, which delved into the SLA's assassination of Marcus Foster, Oakland's first black school superintendent. This is one of the things that turns me off about the SLA (along with the death of the mother at Crocker Bank*), and I would've liked to hear more about their rationale for doing it. (I've read that Foster was working with police to establish photo IDs for students. I can see why that would've seemed chilling at the time, but assassinating someone over it--especially with so many other problems in the world?)
The one good thing the SLA accomplished seems to be the food distribution program. I wish the show had interviewed some recipients of the food, but that would've been peripheral to the focus, the wealthy celebrity Patty Hearst.
