The House included the repeal of the 2002 Authorization for Use of Military Force against Iraq in the National Defense Authorization Act it passed on a bipartisan vote in June. Now the Senate has to pass its repeal bill before this Congress ends on January 3. The National Religious Campaign Against Torture has a customizable letter to your senators urging them to finally get this done:

It's a new Congress so another pair of bipartisan repeals of the 2002 Authorization for Use of Military Force against Iraq were introduced in the Senate and House last Thursday. I checked and the names of our Rep. Adam Schiff and our two senators are missing from the initial list of cosponsors. These customizable letters by the Friends Committee on National Legislation urge them to sign on like they did in the last Congress: fcnl.quorum.us/campaign/44689/

Brian and I got the same form letter Dianne Feinstein sent out last August. It was all about Yemen...again. Dare I say, "Bye, bye, Ms. Dianne?"
