Welcome to the second page of our thread on this message board supporting Bradley Manning. To view the first page, click on the back arrows -- << -- on the far left in the blue rectangle above. This Friday's Montrose Peace Vigil is being dedicated to Bradley, who is about to spend his third Christmas in custody without a trial. Hope to see you on the corner! Here's the link to our page on the Bradley Manning Support Network's website for our November 30 vigil, along with a map: www.bradleymanning.org/events/montrose-peace-vigil-supports-bradley-manning-2012-11-30

Standing in this courtroom sketch are the military judge, Army Col. Denise Lind, defense attorney David Coombs and Pfc. Bradley Manning, shown testifying in a six by eight foot facsimile of his detention cell.Bradley's trial has yet to begin. In the pretrial hearings last week, it was the military that was on trial. His testimony was widely reported in what is known as the mainstream media -- I read two stories in my home-delivered Los Angeles Times alone -- but until David Coombs' first public talk Monday in D.C. shows up on C-SPAN, the best televised report I've seen comes from Democracy Now -- it runs about 17 minutes: www.democracynow.org/2012/11/30/accused_wikileaks_whistleblower_bradley_manning_testifies

At the top of this page back in November, I posted a link to the Bradley Manning Support Network's website advertising the Montrose Peace Vigil demonstration in his honor. I just clicked on it again and saw a comment by Marie Moore on November 30, the same night as our vigil: That is so cool. So is this: apparently when Roberta signed up the Montrose Peace Vigil for that evening's observance with the Bradley Manning Support Network, the good folks there put our weekly vigil on all ten pages of their Events calendar -- every Friday through 2014: orders.bradleymanning.org/support_eventsI can guarantee that most (if not all) of the dozen people who keep coming to the corner of Ocean View Boulevard and Honolulu Avenue in Montrose, Calif. will still be there next autumn and beyond. And we will always think about Bradley -- and talk about the sacrifices that he has made to inform us as citizens.

The Bradley Manning Support Network has corrected our weekly listings on their Events pages. Since last November, the dates would read "03/08/2013-03/09/2013," for instance. Roberta, who gave them the original listing, wrote an e-mail last month, while Brian submitted comments on different Montrose Peace Vigil pages over three weeks. Here is what he wrote on Tuesday for our next vigil -- although they did not post it, this message must have reached the right person: Check out the link below. Our vigil is listed every Friday through December 2014! You never have to scroll far to see the first appearance of these gorgeous blue letters, "Montrose Peace Vigil Supports Bradley Manning." (The link is also on the right side of every page on the website.) Click on the blue and you'll go to the page with that week's who, what, when, where and why along with a map. And a reply form. orders.bradleymanning.org/support_events
