Wow, I remember going to this with other NELA activists (including Nina)! At that time I think I was still counting the vigils and demos I'd been to--I saw it as a temporary thing. Thirteen years later...
One of us was dressed as the Statue of Liberty in a torn gown and shouted "I've been raped!" Another was a flasher wearing a creepy Bush mask. Several of us also dressed as paramedics and carried the "Constitution" on a stretcher.
