Win Without War has a customizable letter to President Obama that expresses disappointment with his decision to keep 8,400 troops in Afghanistan when he leaves office -- and it asks him to launch a peace initiative for Afghanistan before his term is up:

United for Peace and Justice put up a petition Wednesday asking President Obama to withdraw all troops from Afghanistan before he leaves office:

I've always signed every one of these that comes my way because not enough people have spoken out for the last nearly 16 years. In the comment section, I mentioned Kris Kristofferson and quoted a verse from his anti-war song, "Under the Gun."

In my letter, I'm going to say terrorism can only be stopped by winning over hearts and minds (though I know that will never happen as long as the Military-Industrial Complex is running things. Can't they find something to build besides weapons?).
