My entire answer made it in the print edition, even though it was a little over our recommended word count and referred to v.p Cheney with sarcastic disdain. Paige worked in the failings of the Veterans Administration and lots more, Skip condemned all war but unfortunately only appeared online:
I discovered this today, via my alert husband who was searching for news on the bike and pedestrian friendly "road diet" we are looking forward to here on our stretch of Honolulu:
I posted it not because it was rare, but because of the location. As the New York Times front page says this morning, they "carried out what nuclear experts call the biggest security breach in the history of the nation's atomic complex."
Rather than being, as the article says "a huge embarrassment for President Obama," I think this action clearly lends support to his campaign (not that he mentions it lately -- guess it doesn't test well in the swing states) to eliminate nuclear materials everywhere.
A little old lady (high praise by the way) and 2 middle-aged gentlemen using bolt cutters "made nuclear theft seem only a little more challenging than a romp in the Tennessee woods."
