The Nuclear Age Peace Foundation would like you to sign a letter to California Assembly member Monique Limon, thanking her for authoring Assembly Joint Resolution 33 urging "our federal leaders and our nation to embrace the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, make nuclear disarmament the centerpiece of our national security policy, and spearhead a global effort to prevent nuclear war."  The resolution passed the Assembly and the Senate overwhelmingly:

After sizing up the conditions last August, members of Code Pink are returning to the Kara Tepe camp on the Greek island of Lesbos in December to deliver as many boxer briefs to refugee boys as they can.  The Venice chapter is collecting packages for its Boxers Not Bombs campaign:

This is an opportunity to participate in public comment regarding a proposed new policy for asylum seekers. (Parents would be given a choice: their kids could stay with them in prison indefinitely as their asylum cases are reviewed, or they could be put in the foster care system or sent to live with relatives.)
