A visitor points to the word "peace" handwritten in Armenian at the War Budget Cafe on July 16.The booth that Montrose Peace Vigil cosponsored with Glendale Peace Vigil at Glendale Cruise Night last month produced 188 hand signed messages from people of all ages, which we mailed to President Obama, asking him to Bring Our War $$ Home. This page on our message board has the details along with photos: montrosepeacevigil.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=talk2&action=display&thread=192&page=3Guests are always welcome to post on this forum -- just click on "reply" in the blue rectangle below.

Displaying the front panel of our Peace Train at the December 23 vigil. This January, Montrose Peace Vigil celebrates our sixth anniversary of meeting every Friday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on the corner of Ocean View Boulevard and Honolulu Avenue in Montrose, California. Every month, we have other activities besides the weekly Montrose Peace Vigil, as the posts on this message board have recounted since October 2008. The first special event of 2012 is a movie night after our vigil on January 13, featuring the screening of an award winning documentary about effective protest in Liberia by last year's Nobel Peace Prize co-winner, Leymah Gbowee: montrosepeacevigil.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=talk2&action=display&thread=209Edited to add the link for the second page of that thread with our thoughts after seeing the movie: montrosepeacevigil.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=talk2&action=display&thread=209&page=2

Guests are welcome to post on the Montrose Peace Vigil message board. Every page has "reply" links in the blue rectangles, top and bottom. And here's a quick link if you feel like saying "hi" or anything else here: montrosepeacevigil.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=post&thread=80&page=5You will have to enter something in the name field, check a box agreeing to the terms of service and click on a video commercial (which you can soon choose to skip) to get the CAPTCHA that you have to type to prove you're human. I know, it takes some effort -- but we'd love to hear from you.
