Didn't mean to post the last one.
OK, here's the deal. I haven't been able to drive my car unless it's absolutely mandatory, ie smog check. It needs steering fluid and I've been too busy(lazy) to get it. I really should keep up here, I wish I'd known some of you had come down here for the day after New Year's. I could have staggered over. Then again last time I went to the Glendale Peace Vigil I got another piercing. Also we've changed the dog's food prep, so a bit of a problem with them, unless I take them with; Glendale's a problem there. Not as dog friendly as Montrose, too much concrete.
Take care all, Bill

Yes, John and I are in Maui! Here's something that caught my eye on one of our local beach walks. Attachments:

This one was a bit further afield, in Makawao, a village we stopped at on our way home from Haleakala. Attachments:

If you're reading this in the "25 most recent posts" section, you won't see Roberta's photos -- but you can if you click on "Vigils in January" above this and go to the thread itself. Roberta's the first to use the ProBoards attachment feature here, which only shows on the original page. There you can also click on the image or the link below it to get a huge enlargement.
Many thanks to Roberta, our westernmost correspondent, for posting so beautifully from Maui -- and to Bill for stopping by! We look forward to the next time we see you here and anywhere else.

Good work, Roberta. I don't think tonight's vigil will be as comfortable as far as climate goes. I was just walking dogs and a Fox News van stopped to chat. after we finished discussing fire and mudslides, I offered them a tip on our vigil tonight. They didn't seem too excited about covering it, or too knowledgeable about the topic of peace.
