Glendale Cruise Night is not just a night in early summer to enjoy live rock bands in the company of 1,000s of our closest neighbors AND gorgeous, prime dandy antique cars, maybe even that '67 Ford Mustang Convertible you know you'd look your best driving. It's also a chance to work the booth with the Glendale Peace Vigil and all their fine affiliated folks. "Give Peace a Chance" at the Peace Wheel of Fortune. "Every spinner's a winner, at the Peace Wheel". And this year will feature something new..."The Peace Cafe" a chance to order up a topic, share some views or ask some questions, just sitting around a small circle of friendly folks, maybe even plan a the next big activity? I'm not sure who you wanna talk to about working (playing) in the booth...Sharon? Roberta? Here's a link to the poster for cruise night: www.glendalecruisenight.com/

Yes please talk to either of us and we will tell you personally about what a fun time it is. The crowds should be even more receptive this year as the permanent war economy becomes less and less fun for cruisers and those who love them. And the Mayors passed the War $$$ Home resolution, thanks Glendale for your help! Here's how to amplifly it: salsa.wiredforchange.com/o/6503/p/dia/action/public/?action_KEY=4328

We definitely need a sinister spinning spinster. (I don't think a proper spinster has been previously married...but then who among us is "proper"?)

On another Cruise Night matter, does anyone have any suggestions about the colors for our new MPV 1' x 6' grommetted banner, or remember what we said at the meeting last week? Classic white with black letters or Jeanne wanna start off your summer joining me to order it at the nice printing place in Montrose?

The GPV banner is white with green lettering and the GESJA one is white with blue lettering - just for reference. They're one foot tall and about 5.5 feet long. We got them at A G Signs & Banners on Ocean View. I don't think the colors for a MPV banner were decided at the meeting. Nothing has to match, we just want to get our group names out there for the crowds!
If it matters, our canopy is purple and I think Norm's 2 are blue - he mentioned it at the meeting but I've forgotten. As long as whatever you get has grommets so we can hang it up with bungie cords we should be fine!

Thanks for info, Sharon, and Jeanne for a good suggestion. Since we already have ones with green/blue on white, I'm too am thinking light green/violet would tie it all together!
