Hi Anni, I missed it if you had the sketch there tonight so will see your no doubt brilliant idea next time! I fooled around too long all day Friday and the sketch does not exist. Only in my pea brain...

I think the level of the bed was fine. I've got sheets I think, unless they need to be white white. I think they're light. If no one else wants to, my pillows have seen better days so even if the Bed-in was their demise they could go out in a blaze of glory. Let me know if you want me to do a sacavanger hunt in this vein. That would be great, Nancy, if you brought the sheets. I don't think they need to be white. We've got pillows to give up too, but we only need a few at the Bed-In, so if you volunteer yours that might be enough. I also loved the flowers, maybe divide them up into several containers to disburse among vigiler groups-- I can bring some -- so more people can get into the act of giving out flowers. I also am happy to help pay and/or help fetch and carry the flowers -- Bruce, let us know what we should do. My thought is to try to make huge flowers out of sheets of crepe paper and pipecleaners, to decorate our hotel room. I agree with Nancy that everyone showing up on time is a priority -- at the first bed-in the reporter was there and gone before we have our best turnout of the evening. That's all perfect, Roberta -- thanks! Speaking of turnout, I've started making sure that the regulars on the corner who don't visit the message board often know about the Bed-In on May 29, like Bill and Louisa. So far all the people I've told say they're going to be there for sure. If we don't run into everybody by Friday the 22nd, I can send out e-mails and make some phone calls. Anni's sketch is for a wraparound on two or three sides to replace the headboard, highlight the bed and provide a better surface for signs. We'll bring it to the next vigil.

I think the prior headboard was just great -held the signs just so & everything, nice stereotypical headboard so folks can immediately tell what it is: great for a BED-IN- if you don't get around to sketching something better & I don't know how you smart alecs (spelling?) are drawing those little rectangles around "dwarf-font"(:plagarized term. I would credit the source but like others in his genre, he would probably prefer to disavow association with me) copies of the messages you're referancing. Since I enjoy whining, I'm not sure I want to know. I'll try to form a list: sheets, pillow(maybe you could bring another?), $ for flowers. I LOVED the ones before. Paper too would be great. Such a cool thing we're doing. Thanks Ya'll. You're the greatest. Love, Hair Peace, Bed Peace Out, Nancy

I have many extra pillows/sheets & can easily bring. Remembered me, the retired one, for schleping and carrying as you're makin' a list ...

I've been thinking of bringing an old stand (rack?) for atmosphere. It's a tall thing with hooks. We could hang bathrobes, smoking jackets : ) etc. on it. Easy enough to schlep. I love the old headboard and flowers.

All right, yes, the headboard will return to the Bed-In by acclamation. Jeanne's standing coat rack is inspired. Along with Roberta's two chairs and side table, it will make the grassy knoll on the corner look more like a hotel room. We've got bathrobes galore, courtesy of my parents over many Happy Christmases, to choose from. Everybody's been wonderful, covering so many of the elements of our presentation. And this thread is a great way to keep track of all the ideas. I've just started thinking of ways to improve or augment the identifying signs I had at the first Bed-In and display them better. (Nancy's tribute "Hair Peace" and "Bed Peace" are essential.) Any suggestions are welcome. How about an image of John and Yoko, maybe even poster-size, whether a photo of them from a Bed-In or a drawing? ![](http://travel.ninemsn.com.au/img/article/hotelrooms/john-and-yoko.jpg)
